A week long first phase of orientation was held by Senate and PIPS at the main campus where seasoned faculty were brought in to orient the 9 newly inducted officers at the Senate of Pakistan on important topics such as parliamentary authority, committee functions, Senate secretariat, legislative process and parliamentary research.

It is my pleasure today me and my delegation to visit PIPS and to learn more about the tremendous work and efforts made by the institution. Actually, we use this institute to build our parliamentary services and wishing you all the best.

All my gratitude to the Honourable Chairman and to my colleagues members of parliament and senators for the honour of being in Pakistan. Thank you for setting and sharing best practices that can make us better representatives and more effective leaders. Thank you also for being a powerful voice defending multilateralism and parliamentarisim. It has been an amazing beginning for my first visit to Pakistan. Thank you for your twenty-anniversary book presentation that I will remember all my life.
