Mr. Muhammad Nazir Khan

Director General (Information Technology)

Mr. Muhammad Nazir Khan is currently serving as Director General Information Technology at the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS). He has over 22 years of professional experience in information technology, with extensive experience in IT infrastructure, data centers, servers, networks, databases, and IT administration.

Mr. Khan started his professional career in December 2003 as In-charge Data Center at PICIC Commercial Bank, where he served until December 2007. He subsequently worked as IT Manager at NIB Bank Limited from December 2007 to July 2010 and as Customer Services Manager at Summit Bank Limited (formerly MyBank Limited) from July 2010 to July 2012.

From July 2012 to June 2013, Mr. Khan served as Project Coordinator for the “Development of Super Computer – High Performance Computing Infrastructure (HPCI)” at the Directorate of Science & Technology, Department of Science & Technology and Information Technology (ST&IT), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar.

He joined PIPS in July 2013 as IT Administrator and subsequently served as Director IT from March 2015 to June 2022. He has been serving as Director General Information Technology since June 2022.

Mr. Khan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Peshawar, an MS in Information Technology from the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences), Hayatabad, Peshawar, and a Master’s degree in Business Studies (MBS) from Virtual University of Pakistan.
