President SZABIST Honourable Shehnaz Wazir Ali, led a high-profile delegation in a call on with Executive Director, PIPS, Mr. Asim Khan Goraya on 6th October, 2025. She felicitated PIPS for its meritorious services in research, drafting and Member Parliaments’ Capacity Building over last 15 year.
Both SZABIST and PIPS teams reiterated to cooperate in parliamentary studies initiatives to orient youth and students as well as faculty members on working of Parliament. SZABIST also offered PIPS’ assistance in offering research and capacity building through its inhouse experts in Management and Computer Sciences.

While Mr. Asim Khan, Executive Director, PIPS, was assisted by Mr. Muhammad Rashid Mafzool Zaka, Director General (Research) and Syed Zain Gilani, Director General (PDP&C) in the significant meeting. The Consultation concluded with a bilateral vote of thanks and presentation of PIPS Publications to all members of SZABIST by Executive Director, PIPS.
The Two institutions expressed mutual commitment to cooperation in four key areas of Capacity Building, Parliamentary Research, Outreach and Parliamentary Studies.
