Inland Study Tour:Briefing on the PIPS for Participants of the 40th Senior Management Course (SMC), NIPA Karachi

The Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) hosted the participants of the 40th Senior Management Course (SMC), National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Karachi, on 1st September 2026 as part of their Inland Study Tour. The visit provided participants with an opportunity to learn about the role, governance, and significance of PIPS and its contribution to parliamentary services.
The programme featured two insightful panel sessions. The first session, “Status, Governance and Significance of PIPS,” was delivered by Mir Shai Mazar Baloch, DG (Admin), who shared valuable insights into the institutional framework and significance of PIPS. The second session, “Functions and Achievements of PIPS,” was delivered by Muhammad Aamir Khalil, DG (Legislation), highlighting the key functions and achievements of the Institute.
The sessions were followed by an engaging and insightful Question-and-Answer (Q&A) session, providing participants with an opportunity to interact with the distinguished speakers, seek clarifications, and share their views and perspectives on the subject matter. The programme concluded on a warm note by Ms. Samer Awais, DG CB&D. The concluding proceedings included a group photograph and the exchange of shields as a gesture of mutual appreciation and recognition. The occasion was further honoured by the presence of Mr. Asim Khan Goraya, Executive Director, PIPS.
